Cockroach Control: Warning Signs to Look For
Identified, explained, and diagnosed by specialists who see them every day. Free inspections at your home across our service area.
What Cockroach Warning Signs Can Tell You
Cockroach droppings are the routine sign. They look like coarse ground pepper or, from a larger species, like small dark grains, and where they collect tells you where the harborage is: the back of a cabinet, a hinge line, the gap behind an appliance, the underside of a shelf. The location is the useful part, because it is where the treatment has to go.
Cockroaches seen in daytime is the sign that changes the assessment. They are nocturnal and they avoid open light, so insects out in the day usually mean the harborage is crowded enough to push them out of it. One seen at noon is a different report from one seen at midnight, and it is worth mentioning to whoever inspects.
What these signs cannot tell you is the species, and it matters more here than in most pest work. German cockroaches breed indoors and stay close to warmth and moisture; the larger species mostly wander in from outside and are a perimeter problem wearing the same name.

A Local, Family Owned Team in South Hill
Rozier is a family owned, faith-driven company based in South Hill. Because moisture is what invites termites and rodents in the first place, real prevention starts below the surface.
We treat the infestation and correct the moisture conditions that caused it, instead of handing you to a second contractor.
Each home we visit is assessed through a pest lens and a moisture lens, because underneath a house they are the same problem.
We do not arrive with a predetermined treatment and a timer running. What we propose follows from what we find.
Children, pets and sensitive family members are part of the decision about what gets used and how it is applied.
